Anyone who knows us will be well aware that Tom’s favourite restaurant is The Big Easy. A marvellous place of epic burgers, steaks and chocolate waffles, it has been our place of choice for many a celebration and reunion over the last few years.
We normally eat so much we have to walk home to wake ourselves up – although the record was when we with lots of friends, 5 of which had starters, 32oz steaks and then chocolate waffles with ice cream & chocolate sauce for pudding. Phew.
On this occasion we were considerably more restrained, but it was still super tasty. The atmosphere is ace, even though there was a somewhat irritating family next to us who’s child was literally picking up their food and throwing it on the floor faster than the waitress could clear it up. Bonkers.
